The High Commission of Canada in Jamaica, with accreditation to The Bahamas, will host a high-level virtual business mission with a focus on reconstruction and climate resiliency in The Bahamas on January 14 &15, 2021.
The Mission has several objectives:
The Mission will take place over two days:
January 14, 2021 (Day 1): The 30th Bahamas Business Outlook (BBO), the premier business conference in The Bahamas, where participants are exposed to top leaders in business, finance, politics, and national development. Each company will receive one complimentary registration. Additional company representatives will be required to pay a USD$100 fee per person directly to the BBO.
January 15, 2021 (Day 2): The Canada-Bahamas Business Forum, organized by the High Commission of Canada, will facilitate a schedule of pre-arranged meetings (minimum six). There is no charge for this event. Participation is however limited to three (3) delegates per company.
The Forum is open to Canadian companies that are eligible clients of the Trade Commissioner Service (TCS).
Space is limited and participants will be accepted based on the potential for successful business outcomes as determined by the TCS.
