NEIA is exploring opportunities in Latin America and within Spanish-Speaking Caribbean markets to complement ongoing Caribbean development activities. To support this initiative, NEIA has retained the services of an international business development team who are experts in IFI/Donor-funded procurement and the strategic pursuit of business in developing countries. The team has worked extensively in the Caribbean and Latin America to support interested firms with market research and opportunity identification.
The team, led by Coral Hill LLC, will work closely with businesses to identify and pre-qualify relevant opportunities and contacts and to recommend targeted business development strategies specific to each participating firm to pursue business development opportunities in the region(s).

Hugh Wilkinson, Principal of Coral Hill LLC, will serve as the proponent team leader and contractor for the assignment. Hugh is a global expert in ‘IFI/Donor Procurement’, business development in the development business, and the strategic pursuit of business funded by the World Bank and other IFIs and has over 30 years’ experience working in international development.
Amber Mackereth, Managing Director of Amber Mackereth Consulting, will also serve on the team. Amber is an international business development consultant with substantial experience assisting Atlantic Canadian clients to tap into export opportunities, particularly within the Caribbean and IFI Markets.
As professional colleagues in the IFI business for 15+ years, Hugh Wilkinson and Amber Mackereth have collaborated on advising Canadian firms and government on IFI/Donor business strategies, have jointly undertaken comprehensive market research studies, and frequently present together at international business development events.
