An international business development resource for firms in Newfoundland and Labrador

Join Us at Canada’s Atlantic Edge during PDAC 2019

NOTE: This opportunity has expired or is an event which has already taken place.

Canada’s Atlantic Edge is a new-for-2019, mining and exploration forum and B-2-B networking reception at the upcoming The Prospectors & Developers Association of Canada (PDAC) Convention. The event is an industry-driven, pan-Atlantic Canada collaboration, organized by an oversight committee of our Atlantic region mining industry associations, and Provincial and Federal agencies.

Our intent is to collectively raise the profile of the larger Atlantic Canada region, and attract more attention from mining analysts, private capital, streaming companies, resource-focused funds, and other strong resource companies. Those of us operating in Atlantic Canada recognize that jointly highlighting regional strengths and newsworthy projects assists all players.

There are several facets to the Canada’s Atlantic Edge event, including short presentations for a few representative high-profile mining exploration and development projects. These are selected to collectively give a flavour of the advanced developments in the region, thus highlighting the range of opportunities awaiting investor capital. The overview session is followed by a B2B networking reception. Regional supply and service companies and all firms active in the mining and exploration sector in the region are encouraged to attend. Space is provided to display corporate literature at the event. There are digital handouts on the full range of projects in Atlantic Canada, as well as a web presence devoted to the event, with links to project details, and mining supply and service support in the region.

The forum runs on Tuesday (March 5), from 2-6 pm, in Room 202D, North Building, Metro Toronto Convention Centre. Registration is free, and pre-registration is required.
