Global Affairs Canada’s Business Women in International Trade (BWIT) team is organizing a business women’s trade mission to Germany (Hamburg and Stuttgart) and U.K. (London) from November 4-10, 2018. The objective is to explore international business opportunities for women-owned companies, including those offered by the Canada-European Union Comprehensive Economic and Trade Agreement (CETA). Unique events held in partnership with the German Businesswomen’s Association (VdU) and the Embassy of Canada in Berlin. Content designed for women-owned businesses in multiple sectors, from Canada and key regions of Germany, to open opportunities for B2B and improve access to global value chains.

Sunday, November 4 – Arrive Hamburg; Welcome Reception in evening at TBC Hotel

Monday, November 5 – All day program with VdU membership/targets; Evening Reception

Tuesday, November 6 – morning B2B & train transfer to Stuttgart; evening program in Stuttgart

Wednesday, November 7 – morning market overview, B2B & train transfer to London, U.K.

Includes attending the WEConnect International Europe’s annual conference to network with procurement specialists from leading corporations, multinationals and government agencies, as well as women business leaders from the U.K. and Europe.
