February 9 to 12, 2020, Houston, TX
The Consulate of Canada in Houston is organizing a three-day program to showcase innovative Canadian Clean Technologies applicable to the Oil and Gas sector. Selected applicants will participate in a targeted program that will provide the opportunity to present innovative proven solutions to, and network with, key executives and decision-makers of three multi-nationals energy companies: ExxonMobil, BP and Schlumberger.
This event is geared towards scale-up companies or above which are looking for partners/clients interested in integrating innovative technologies into their value chain.
The TCS program at each multinational will consist of:
- Welcoming Remarks/Presentation by the host
- Presentation by Canadian Consulate
- Presentation by Canadian companies (10 min. each)
- Coffee break/networking
- Presentation by Canadian companies (10 min. each)
- Lunch/networking
- Closing Remarks
- Adjourn at approximately 2:30pm
DRAFT ITINERARY
Sunday 9th
– Arrive in Houston
– 6:00 pm Overview of the logistics/program at the Canadian Consulate
– 7:00 pm Informal Dinner
Monday 10th
– Program at Exxon Mobil
Tuesday 11th
– Program at BP

– Program at Schlumberger
– 3:00 pm end of program

- Digital Technologies/enabled Bus Models
- Safety/Reliability/Maintenance
- Low GHG and Emissions Technologies
- Product and Operations Sustainability
- AI/Machine learning, robotics and automation (for field operations/manufacturing)
- Renewables, geothermal, hydrogen production and storage, lithium production
IS IT RIGHT FOR YOU?
- Company has ownership of a proven technology that matches the areas of interest of our partners.
- If company is established but has a new technology. A prototype must be available.
- Company must have the commitment and adequate staff resources to be able to follow up with contacts.
ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
- There is no cost for participating in this program, aside from your flights to and from Houston / airport transfers / accommodation costs / some meals.
- Van transportation between the Canadian Consulate and program will be provided at no additional cost.
- Companies must be prepared to arrive in Houston on Sunday, February 9th and remain in the program until it finishes at 3:00 pm on Wednesday, February 12th.
- Final selection of participating Canadian firms will be made by the US companies.
