About Farnborough International Airshow

The Farnborough International Airshow (FIA) is the most important trade event for the global aerospace industry in 2018. A total of 1,500 exhibitors from 52 countries are expected to attend. Held in mid-July outside London, UK, the event is a key opportunity to promote Canadian aerospace capabilities to international OEMs and their global supply chains.

Government of Canada Participation at FIA

Working collaboratively with the AIAC and the Canadian High Commission in London, the department of Innovation, Science, and Economic Development (ISED) leads the organization of the Canadian presence at the show. The Government of Canada will be leading a series of initiatives, including Minister and senior management meeting program, the organization of the Showcase portion of the Canadian Pavilion, a welcome reception, a speaker series, a B2B matchmaking program, networking activities, and support for the Canada reception.

ACADA’s Mission to FIA

ACADA has secured a 9m x 9m booth within the Canadian Pavilion, as well as a small meeting table in the Canada Chalet. As part of the mission, members will have the opportunity to display their logo within the ACADA booth, as well as avail of the meeting space in the Canada Lounge. More information to come.
